Swim to Fight Cancer | Muiden

Here’s to fighting cancer! One ride, one swim, one run at a time! We keep fighting. Join me in the fight!

I will be swimming for my mom and Father-in-law taken too soon from cancer. Also to friends I’ve lost, who battled with cancer and who are still fighting. It will be an emotional swim and I will try not to flood my goggles. Any contributions would be greatly appreciated to help me swim faster!!

Max and I will also be cycling from home (Bussum) to Paris covering 555km over 3 days from 3-5 June. Would love for you to join us for part of our route if you can.

My Updates

Today we get to do our part.

Saturday 7th Sep

‘Race Day’ is here and I swim at 13.10. Feels very different this year, my 3rd year. More intention, more weight, more peace, more love, more acceptance, less pain🩵🤍🪽. Please help me support my cause and reach my target.

3 weeks to Swim to Fight Cancer Muiden 4km swim!

Saturday 17th Aug
Please help me support my cause.

Shaving my hair bald right after IRONMAN World Championship Nice as I put the final push and energy I can give to my hair to carry it forward to the person who will wear it✨💞. It will be shaved the day after. I’d like to invite friends Sarah Tomalewicz Sarah Jayne, Clair Turner, Sally Salter, Elena Ibarra, Felicia Long, Dave Howlett, Jessica Adam who are around on 23 September to join me as I make this offering and welcoming the new as I embark on 25th September on my Camino walk from St Jean Pied de Port to Santiago de Compostela and continuing on to Muxia covering about 866km solo and camping as much as possible. A spiritual journey as I embrace whatever wants to come to me.

Please support my action to fight cancer. 1€ for 1 cm of my hair or any amount for cancer research and friends battling cancer. I would be honoured if you’d like me to carry the name of your loved ones in my journey.

Stepping up!

Monday 22nd Jul

It is time again to do my little part to allow women affected by cancer who cannot afford a wig to have one for free if they wish to do so. My hair has grown long enough for me to donate once again to https://www.haarstichting.nl/haar-doneren/ . Cancer has once again affected a very close friend who had a double mastectomy and my fight continues one swim, one bike ride, one run at a time.

I decided to make this offering right after Ironman World Championship Nice as I put the final push and energy I can give to my hair to carry it forward to the person who will wear it✨💞. It will be cut the day after. I’d like to invite friends @sarah, Sarah, Claire, Sally, Elena, Felicia, Dave Howett

who are around on 23 September to join me as I make this offering and welcoming the new.

Not only will I be donating my hair but I will be shaving my hair bald as I embark  on 25th September on my Camino walk from St Jean Pied de Port to Santiago de Compostela and continuing on to Muxia covering about 866km solo and camping as much as possible. A spiritual journey as I embrace whatever wants to come to me.
