This year, my wife and I have decided to take on a special challenge together: we will be swimming in open water to raise funds for cancer research. Cancer is a disease that affects far too many people, and we are committed to contributing to the discovery of better treatments and, ultimately, a cure.

We also want to raise awareness within our community and among our children that staying active and participating in meaningful initiatives like this is a vital part of leading a strong, healthy and purposeful life.
